Article 38 Cooperative Designs - The London Style Journal
I have really liked Cooperative Designs ability to proudly stand out from the crowd for a long time, so was in some ways unsurprised at their creative presentation held this afternoon at the legendary haunt that is The Groucho Club.
The event, held in conjunction with Brompton bikes was Bollywood inspired, mixing the rich hues of India into their knitted women’s wear pieces. Worn by non-traditional models, the pieces were showcased in accessible for all way, with the usual size 6 brigade taking a back seat.
The pieces themselves were like a flurry of activity, with Cooperative Design TM stripes being awash over a collection of tube and draped dresses. The standout piece was a delicate dress, with a blocky pattern, subliminally with repeated cats faces.
The styling was all 20’s, dark smouldering charcoal eyes and perfectly styled finger-woven hair, contrasting magnificently with the apparel on show.
